The entrance exam for admission to Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro, was conducted successfully in June 2024, following the merit policies of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and HEC. To qualify for admission, candidates must achieve a minimum of 40% marks in the entry test.

Diploma holders in related technologies must have a minimum of 60% to qualify for Chemical Engineering.
